Waiting on Wednesday

The book I chosen is (I think) a decent book. I haven't read the series yet, but I am willing to (whenever I have time)!

Through the Ever Night
HaperCollins
January 8th, 2013
I think this cover is AMAZING. I LOVE the colors. It just makes everything POP. Now I don't know who the guy it, though he is kinda cute ... (:

Let's take a look at both of the books:

First book
Second Book
I really LOVE them! Like I said before, I really love the colors and how it makes everything POP. But to be honest, I have to go with Through The Ever Night over Under The Never Sky. I just like how they have that tint of purple and green-ish color combine. It's really pretty.

Waiting on Wednesday

Whoa! I haven't done this post for a VERY long time! But I have two NEW books that are SO AWESOME!

Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor
Release Date:
 November/06/2012
Publisher: Little, Brown and Company
Pages: 304
Purchase: Amazon | B&N

In this stunning sequel to the highly acclaimed “Daughter of Smoke and Bone,” Karou must come to terms with who and what she is, and how far she’ll go to avenge her people. Filled with heartbreak and beauty, mysteries and secrets, new characters and old favorites, Days of Blood and Starlight brings the richness, color and intensity of the first book to a brand new canvas.
Daughter of Smoke and Bone was declared a “must read” by Entertainment Weekly, was named a Best Book of the Year by Amazon.com, and The New York Times called it “a breath-catching romantic fantasy.”

SWEET! I read the first book and guessed it was okay. But I'm willing to give this series another try with this book! Here's another awesome book!
Sacrifice by Cayla Kluver
Release Date: November 2012
Publisher: Harlequin Teen
Previous Books: Legacy |
Allegiance
The Synopsis is still to be released. But what do you think of the cover? AMAZING! :D Hoped you liked my two little books I wanted to share with you guys! (:

Waiting on Wednesday

This week, for Waiting on Wednesday, we have one new book! And I'm SO EXCITED for this one!! I can't even wait!

Rapture
by Lauren Kate
June 12th, 2012
The sky is dark with wings . . . .
Like sand in an hourglass, time is running out for Luce and Daniel. To stop Lucifer from erasing the past they must find the place where the angels fell to earth. Dark forces are after them, and Daniel doesn’t know if he can do this—live only to lose Luce again and again.
Yet together they will face an epic battle that will end with lifeless bodies . . . and angel dust. Great sacrifices are made. Hearts are destroyed. And suddenly Luce knows what must happen.
For she was meant to be with someone other than Daniel. The curse they’ve borne has always and only been about her—and the love she cast aside. The choice she makes now will be the only one that truly matters.
In the fight for Luce, who will win?
The astonishing conclusion to the FALLEN series. Heaven can’t wait any longer.
I have to like, avoid to read this summary because I'm reading "Passion" (3rd book), and I don't want this to spoil this for me! And can I say that I'm OVER OBSESSED with the covers?! They are SO AMAZING! Lauren Kate hit the jackpot for the bookcover! Here are the other book covers!
I REALLY LOVE THESE!

This is a book w/ short stories that goes between "Torment" & "Passion"

Well, I guess there was 5 books in all, but 1 in general. I guess I got carried away ... Hahaa! :)

You can't choose your family ...living or dead.
Trapped between two very different worlds, newly made vampire Moth is struggling to find her place in either. Not only does she have to answer to her strict Irish-Catholic Dad, but her over-protective maker, Theo, is intent on making her the star attraction in his powerful Boston vampire clan. Moth will have to pull off the double-act of the century to please both of them...
Adding to her problems is the dangerously attractive Jason Murdoch, a trainee vampire hunter who loves to play cat and mouse in his spare time (Jace = cat; Moth = mouse). But when the teenagers of Boston's wealthiest families start to disappear, it forces Moth and Jace into an uneasy truce. Will they be able to solve the mystery behind the disappearances - before someone winds up undead?

Summer is the best part of the year in Winston, California, and the Fourth of July is the highlight of the season. But the perfect town Clare remembers has changed, and everyone is praying that this summer will be different from the last two—that this year's Fourth of July festival won't see one of their own vanish without a trace, leaving no leads and no suspects. The media are in a frenzy predicting a third disappearance, but the town depends on tourist dollars, so the residents of Winston are trying desperately to pretend nothing's wrong.
And they're not the only ones hiding something.
Clare, a seamstress who redesigns vintage clothing, has been blessed—or perhaps cursed—with a gift: she can see people's pasts when she touches their clothes. When she stumbles across a denim jacket that once belonged to Amanda Stavros, last year's Fourth of July victim, Clare sees her perfect town begin to come apart at the seams.
In a town where appearance means everything, how deep beneath the surface will Clare dig to uncover a murderer?

Aren't those books great?!
