REVIEW: Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick

Title: Silence
Author: Becca Fitzpatrick
Series: Hush Hush
Series #: 3
Pages: 448
Rating:

Summary:
The noise between Patch and Nora is gone. They've overcome the secrets riddled in Patch's dark past...bridged two irreconcilable worlds...faced heart-wrenching tests of betrayal, loyalty and trust...and all for a love that will transcend the boundary between heaven and earth. Armed with nothing but their absolute faith in one another, Patch and Nora enter a desperate fight to stop a villain who holds the power to shatter everything they've worked for—and their love—forever.

Selena's POV:

I was REALLY excited to read this book after the emotional Crescendo. But I wad kind of disappointed. :(

We left off Crescendo with a major cliffhanger (Damn, I hate those!). And you start Silence with confusion. Well, at least I was confused. It took me a while until I actually caught what was happening. Something happened to Nora, and that got me confused.

When I was reading Silence, I felt as if I was rereading Hush Hush all over again. It was a good thing and a bad thing. The good thing was that I didn't even remember what happened in Hush Hush because I read it last summer. In Silence, it kind of repeated the information, and I thought it was helpful. But the bad thing was that I felt myself kind of dragging though the first half of the book.

But let me tell you about the parts that were intense and made me wanna throw the book across the room. I liked that Nora wasn't the same, and that she was much braver. But I didn't like that she wasn't the same because every time something we already knew came across the book, and she didn't know it, I wanted to scream and her, and tell her that she KNEW it, and didn't have to act stupid. But that wasn't her fault. (:

I also liked Patch. Period. ;) Hahaa!

* SPOILER AHEAD*

I liked how Patch and Nora ACTUALLY started to get serious and all those other things. I mean, they weren't getting serious serious, but they were moving from where they use to be in Crescendo. And I liked that.

Did I mention I loved Patch, too? ;) <3

Overall, I liked this book, and this is probably my favorite series with other series too. (: If you haven't read this series yet, GET TO IT! It's AMAZING, and you won't regret reading it!
