Clare also revealed that Constantin Films is in the process of hiring a casting director. Also, Lily Collins (Clary) is going to have some extra input on who will be cast as Simon, and already has a favorite that is also a fan-favorite!
Cassandra will also announce that she will be revealing many other movie details, including the new directors name. But until then ....
ONTO CITY OF LOST SOULS!
As you guys know, City of Lost Souls is the fifth installment to The Mortal Instruments series. It is going to be released on May 8th, 2012. As before, City of Fallen Angels had many different versions of it, including special contents from the characters, just like Clockwork Prince did. City of Lost Souls will do the same.
Here are the current released versions of City of Lost Souls that are going to be released:
In the United States
Barnes and Noble: Contains a letter from Stephen Herondale (Jace’s real father) to Jace, which was written before he died. Much like Jace's letter to Clary that came with City of Fallen Angels, it will be affixed to the back of the book and detachable.
Walmart: Contains the short story “A Dark Transformation,” about how Jonathan Morgenstern took over the identity of Sebastian Verlac.
Costco: Contains the short story “The Act of Falling,” also known as the Dirty Sexy Alley Scene from City of Fallen Angels in Jace’s perspective.
Target: Contains the short story “A Question of Power,” in which Alec and Camille talk about Magnus and his father.
In Canada:
Indigo/Chapters: Contains a letter from Stephen Herondale (Jace’s real father) to Jace, which was written before he died. Much like Jace's letter to Clary that came with City of Fallen Angels, it will be affixed to the back of the book and detachable.
Costco: Contains the short story “The Act of Falling,” also known as the Dirty Sexy Alley Scene from City of Fallen Angels in Jace’s perspective.
In Australia/In the UK:
No current information.
**NOTE** Special content does not come with e-books (i.e. Kindle, Nook, etc.), but that content willl be made available online after an exclusivity period ranging from 3-6 months.
I'm really looking forward to the Walmart and Costco versions! The extra content sound very interesting ...(:
How many copies will you be buying?
